Hello and welcome to my first blog. Its taken me a while to summon up the courage to begin , but here I am and it is a project I have been wanting to start for a long time. In the spirit of September new beginnings and new starts.
The essense of this Blog is, even though we may be entering into the fifth decade of our lives, as a woman I passionately feel that age is just a number and this is a rejuvinating time in life. Its not so much a new chapter but a new book.
Why Embarrassing Mother ? well …….is it embarrassing to have a mother who is still trying to navigate her Instagram account , has an appreciation of grime, who has does not always conform to the sterotype , I think sometimes it is.
I am sure that as the Blog develops you will meet the ‘family’ including Husband of Embarrassing Mother whose eyes are regularly raised to the ceiling.
There will be articles and features and recommends, on a Friday The Embarrassing Mother playlist of a few tracks both old and new that will really launch you into the weekend with some good vibes.
The thing is that in my head I am 25. I do not think that age should define you or set you limitations.
